I can not believe it has been so long since I last blogged. This will be a long post full of pictures from the summer. Our summer has been fun and full of baseball, softball, swimming, fun, and craziness! Here is a recap of the summer in no particular order...

To finish off the McKinney girl crew...we added Emily to the mix! Ben and Emily got engaged and we were able to celebrate with them.

Dawson had a baseball tournament in Arkansas. We drove 4 hours there on a Friday afternoon only to turn around and drive back Saturday morning because the tournament was rained out:( This picture was the ride to not from!!

Baby Eli...
Sweet baby Eli is finally home! Our friends Dusty, Summer, Davin and Cooper added little Eli to the family in May. The little fellas was not supposed to be here until July! After some time in the hospital he was finally able to come home and is doing great!

Youth Camp...
We sent Dawson off to his first youth camp...Yikes! Can't believe he is old enough to go to youth camp. Whhaaaaaat??? He went to Falls Creek and his buddy Davin was able to join him. They had a blast and are excited for next year.

Zoo time...
While bubba was at camp, Casady and I went to the zoo for the day. She loves animals and is trying to figure out how she can be a zoo veterinarian and regular veterinarian. She loves all the wild animals but really wants to help doggies too! :)
Texas Trip...
We went to Texas for the weekend to visit friends and family, go to a carnival, and go to a Rangers game. Fun times! Above is David and Brandt at the Decatur Texas Reunion (annual carnival).

Great Grandma visits...
The kiddos each got to go and visit their great grandma Mary this summer. Casady has spent a lot of time at her other great grandmas house (Grandma McKinney) this summer as well. Just playing skipbo and cracking pecans. I need to get a picture of that!
Cousin time...
On different weekends this summer Addison and Jake came to stay with Nana and Papa Joe. During those times Casady and Dawson were able to join in on all the fun. For Addison's weekend they went to the drive-in movie, the rodeo, and got manis and pedis!
For Jake's weekend the boys did a ropes course, kayaking, movies, and took a archery class!
The Shelter...
After a crazy season of storms we finally put a shelter in. So now we are prepared for next year!
I am sure that I left something out even after all of that! I will try to not go so long in between post this time.
