First Games

Saturday was our first soccer and flag football games. Casady has been so excited for a while now to play and was very anxious to wear her uniform. Dawson has been just as excited about football! We arrived at the field and Casady warmed up great with her team. She played in the first half in what looked like a swarm of 4 year olds around a little ball. She never attempted to get in the swarm. She just ran beside it and looked over at me with a confused expression. She did not understand why no one was passing her the ball. The second half...well let's just say she was not excited at all. Her tears held her back from even going in the second half of the game. She really worked herself up and was adamant about hanging on my leg. We had a long talk on the way home as she explained that there were just to many people and no one would kick her the ball. I think we got everything resolved and I hope we have a better game this weekend. Dawson on the other hand was great! He plays all the position, but really loves being the quarterback! He scored a touchdown in the 2nd half. I am trying to upload that video to the computer so hopefully you can see it. His team won 21-0. With David as the coach, I think we will be very successful! So now we have 5 more games to go and I can't wait to watch every one of them!
