Casady's Birthday

Well our little lady is growing up...she turned 8 on April 1st. Casady decided this year that she wanted to have a "flower" themed party. We planned out a couple crafts to do and what kind of cake she wanted. Since her birthday landed on Sunday and our weekend was busy, we decided to have a party on Friday. Here are a few pictures of all the fun we had!
These fabulous flowers were from Grammy. Casady loved them and they were a wonderful decoration for the party!
For one of the crafts we had the girls paint/design their own flower pot. And then they got to plant a flower in their pot and take it home.
The second craft was making flower pens. Each girl wrapped green tape around a flower and pen to make a fantastic writing utensil! They then decorated tiny flower pots to hold their pens.
Casady wanted to have cake pops this year. So we came up with a flower pot cake with flower cake pops!
Showing off her new flower tote!
She has been asking for a while to get roller skates. So that is what we gave her!! She put them on right away and started skating through out the house. And has been skating everyday since then.
 Cake time!

This is Sunday morning. Since the kiddos get to choose their birthday breakfast each year, it was no surprise that she choose....
a cake pop! Look at her sleepy eyes. So cute!
Enjoying every bite!
Happy Birthday Baby!!
