Christmas 2011!!

Well I am finally getting around to posting all of our Christmas pictures. We had a great Christmas with our little family of four, all of David's family that came to town, and my mom, Michael and Kate! Here are a lot of pictures from all the festivities!! I will explain as we go...
Waiting in line for 45 minutes to see Santa! This is probably Dawson's last year for the "Santa visit"! He was almost as big as Santa when he sat next to him!

The Friday before Christmas we went to Nana and Papa Joe's to hang out with all of David's brothers and their families. And also to eat some of Uncle Ben's birthday cake!! Casady helped decorate it.

Here are all the Ladies!!! Whitney, Maile, Sarah, Me, and Emily!

Every year Nana gets all the grand kids Christmas pj's and gives them to them early so they can wear them Christmas morning. We had them put them on for some picture time!!
Jake and Dawson with their cool plaid pants and shirt that says "My family rocks"!
Addison and Casady with their pretty red and white flowered pj's!
The annual picture on the stairs! It is getting harder each year to get a great picture!!

On Christmas Eve morning all the girls met at Starbucks to enjoy some yummy coffee and girl time!

We have several traditions on Christmas Eve. Here are a few of them...
Making cookies for Santa! Addison got to help us this year.

If the Oklahoma weather permits, we put out luminarias every Christmas Eve night! We have not been able to put them out the past two years. But this year the weather was perfect...no wind!!
Filling the bags with sand and candles!
The pictures do not do the luminarias justice! They were so pretty and look super cool!
We go to the candle light service at our church on Christmas Eve. Here are the kiddos before we left.
We always order pizza, get on our pj's, and watch a Christmas movie together. This year we decided to try Papa Murphy's pizza and bake them ourselves. Here is a picture of the ginormous pizza we ordered!!
Kiddos enjoying their pizza!
Watching the Christmas movie!

We always set out cookies and milk for Santa. This year Casady wrote the sweetest (and longest) letter to Santa that I have ever seen. And she gave him a hot cocoa mix that she made at school so that Mrs. Clause could have something also. This is how she set it up for him right by the fireplace so he would see it right away!
Off to bed....
Christmas Morning
We told the kiddos they could not come out of their rooms until 7 because last year they woke us up at 4:30am! So we set our alarm for 6:45 so we could be ready for them. We woke up earlier than the alarm and went into the living room and could hear them up and around. Dawson already had his contacts in so we know they had been up for awhile! We made them wait until we made some coffee and them let them out!!
Checking out what Santa brought!
Waiting to open their stockings!
They both got a ipod nano and headphones...here they are opening the nanos.

David got some new shades!
I got some cool socks!!! And I don't have a picture of it but I got a.....wait for it.....IPAD!! Whaaat??? I know I could not believe it. It was a total surprise and I LOVE it!
We always take a picture of the kiddos in the pile of wrapping paper! Super cute!!

After our fun morning we headed over to David's parents for Christmas with them and of course Nana's Christmas morning cinnamon rolls!!
Jake and Dawson got to design their own tennis shoes on Thanksgiving for their present. They both turned out pretty cool! Dawson wears his everyday and loves them!
Casady got Toms glitter shoes...she also loves them and wears them everyday!!
The boys are getting a little big (and cool) to just be handing out kisses...so we had to get a picture of them giving Nana some sugar! Dawson's face is so funny!!
Grandma Mary (Nana's mom) was able to come over for a little while and spend some time with everyone. Here are the girls with her while she opened her presents.
Then in the afternoon we headed to my mom's house for Christmas with her, Michael, and Kate!
Kiddos with their stockings!
Uncle Mike and Kate gave Dawson a new Urlacher jersey! He was pumped!
We all gave mom a new laptop for Christmas. She started crying and was super excited!
I made Mike and Kate jump into the wrapping paper pile! Good times!
Enjoying time with Grammy!

Our Christmas was so nice and we are so blessed. I am thankful for the time we were able to spend with each other, our families, and making so many wonderful memories!
