One Year

I can not believe that it has been one year since my sweet dad passed away. Sometimes it feels like it was so long ago, and other times it feels like yesterday. There is not a day that goes by that I am not reminded of him by something I see or hear. Anytime I catch a glance of a man with a grey beard I smile and then the tears come. I know that over time those tears will be fewer and the smile will last longer as I think of all the sweet things about him. But how much I miss him will always stay the same. This is one of my very favorite pictures of my dad and I. I have it framed in our living room so I can look at it each day and remember him.
