We had a great Christmas this year! It was hard at times because I just miss my dad so much and wish he was here to share the joys of Christmas with us. My mom spent Christmas Eve night with us. She saw first hand how Christmas morning in the McKinney house works! The kiddos decided to wake up at...5:30! We told them it was a little early and to jump in bed with us. Yeah, that didn't work! They woke up Grammy and we were starting Christmas morning at 6:00am!! It was nice to have my mom there. Then we went to David's parents to have Christmas with his family. And that evening we went to mom's house to be with her and Michael. Here are some pictures of our holiday.

One of Santa's helpers left a surprise for the 6 grandkids.
It was a bag with a note that sent them on a scavenger hunt for a surprise.
Ready to head out to find the surprise! After 6 clues they found a bag with quarters and candy canes. They each had to count out 40 quarters for themselves. They all had fun and didn't mind searching for clues in the freezing weather!
