The Big Race

A couple weekends ago Dawson ran in his first race. His friend Blake asked if he wanted to run in the 1 mile fun run. Dawson has never ran in a race nor ran a mile. So once he was asked he of course said yes and asked David if he could start running with him so he could train! So with one week to prepare he did one "training" run with his daddy and did a lot of stretching. The race was for the Piedmont Founders Day. So we got up at the crack of dawn and headed out to support Dawson. He did great and had a fun time.
